Overview
This line is for students who are especially interested in medicine and natural sciences.
You can attend a line focusing on medicine and natural sciences. This line collaborates with different universities and other partners.
Programme structure
- Natural sciences and humanities: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, philosophy, religion/ethics, psychology, history, social studies and health education
- Languages: Finnish, English, Swedish, German, Russian and Spanish
- Other: art, physical education and music
Some of the courses are mandatory but the structure of your timetable will also depend on the voluntary courses you choose to study. This line gives you a chance to study additional courses from biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. In addition, preparatory courses are organized for the entrance examinations of the faculty of medicine and they are included in the high school studies.
Further education opportunities
Most of the students who study in this line will apply to the University of Medicine after high school, but you can also apply to any other university or university of applied sciences.
